PRONTO's Long Island community service program encourages creativity, innovation, and moral and ethical concern for fellow humans and the communities in which we live. It also supplies a work force for projects that benefits the community but could not otherwise be accomplished because of lack of funds. Members of the program often include: offenders assigned to the program by the courts for some violation of the law; unemployed individuals assigned by the Department of Labor; youth from local high schools; and youth working towards volunteer commitments at their church.
